The Alpha: Vanguards #2

The Alpha
Someone is about to get some Spice in his life.

Spice has nothing but the clothes on her back when she returns to Chicago. She's looking for a better life, and that means reuniting with her estranged twin sister, Sugar. She isn't thrilled to find out Sugar's boyfriend is a vampire. But then she meets Eric, once the bottle-cap-glasses wearing nerd next door - now grown into the kind of man she'd love to snuggle with on this cold winter night...and he's offered her his room in Sugar's house.

Eric can't believe Spice has returned. He'd given up hope of ever seeing her again, let alone having her stare at him as if he's sex on a stick. But now that all of his fantasies for them are coming true, reality rears her ugly head and Eric must tell Spice his intimate secret; he's actually an Alpha werewolf looking for his mate and he thinks he's found her.

The very beginning of this one had me tilting my head. Why would a wolf mistake his mate for her twin sister?

Soon -very soon- after, I was laughing my ass off. There are geeks, and then there are *geeks*. Eric is most assuredly the latter of the two. A virgin alpha. Whodathunk?

It's quite the switcharoo with Spice being the screw 'em and lose 'em type. And I don't care for it. Nor for Eric.

I want a gentleman. Not a saint.

'kay 1) only a parent with a sense of humor would name their twins Sugar & Spice. *raised eyebrow*

2) even though, this definitely sounds like one for the tbr list. *evil grin* a virgin alpha?? and geeks? my kinda book! XD

I never know with you. I didn't like Eric though. He's not very impressive.

*smiles* I'll let you know after the read.

Why on the award free? Some of those awards come conditional. Strange huh? Like some one gives you an award and then you have to answer x number of questions and then send the award to 15 others.

I've seen several sites that have multiple awards and love it. And several that appreciate it but don't want to send the crossblogger award.

The buttons is just an idea I'm batting around. =)
