Blog Hopping Friday #7

Hosted by: Bitten by Paranormal Romance, Crazy For Books, A Few More Pages, Parajunkee.com

Parajunkee's question: If you have, or would have a daughter, what book would you want your daughter to read?

My answer: I don't want a daughter. Never ever ever ever ever.

Book Beginnings

Currently reading Something Wicked by Michelle Rowen which begins...
"Would you look at his place? Equal parts lust and desperation. It's fantastic."

Stopped on the hop. in the about you summary you say one man and one woman and always get their virgin. Does that affect your reading and reviewing policy? Just curious. The blog looks great! I will cover any kind of paranormal romance. Since I am straight I tend to gravitate that way with what I read but I don't mind a same sex relationship between experienced adults. Love, I feel is love however it manifests. I read pnr and UF and fantasy in adult and adult formats. News, reviews and commentary.

Hi Steph. Does what affect my reviews? If he/she doesn't get their virgin, or if there's more than one man or one woman?

Cuz, yes. Everything affects my review. If the man or woman doesn't get their intended then I'm left bereft and pissed.

Typically, I don't go for books with multiple partners. I don't do infidelity in my fantasy and I've never grasped the idea of loving two people at once.

I do like it when the characters are sexual virgins, but in this case I leaned toward the more informal definition of the term (any person who is uninitiated, uninformed, or the like). Such characters who have found themselves in a new situation.

Since I read romance... I prefer characters who have never been in love before. Their past though, I can overlook if, once they find the one they want, each remains loyal to the chase.

I hope that answers your question, however you intended it. And thanks for your curiosity. =)
