In the mood for something cheesy, and yet equally dirty and delicious with an uber-fantastic viking... in space? If so, grab this one fast from Zoe York. It does have a mate claiming angle that allows the brisk romance to still be believable. Although, honestly, when Reinn blurted the grand confession of love, I mentally began counting just how many conversations the two had actually shared together before such an epic moment. The answer? Not many.
Reinn storms in and falls back again in a routine guaranteed to keep Ashleigh guessing. For while she, and everyone else, assumes the royal divorcee has his eyes on a quick fling, in reality Reinn is looking to claim himself a bride. This time, not for political strategies, but for love.
My only complaint with this read (and it's your call whether it's a big one or not) is in that I felt like I was reading a prologue and an epilogue, but not an actual story. They come together, predict rough times will come, and then live happily ever after. Uh...
