As the daughter of the famous Silver Spirits paranormal investigators, Charlotte Silver is used to all things weird. But when coffins start floating down her street during a flood, life turns extra strange. And wonderful, when her friend and crush Noah signs on to help Charlotte and her folks in the aftermath. Cemetery cleanup might not sound exciting, but as shocking discoveries and a lurking stranger come to light, Charlotte learns that sometimes, raising the dead can bring unexpected rewards.

Flood season in South Carolina unearths coffins from a local cemetery and sets them adrift down Main Street. Volunteering for clean up duty is seventeen year old, Charlotte, her parents, a husband and wife paranormal research team, and a few friends, including her crush, Noah.

Now I'm not the most forward woman in the world when it comes to approaching a man I'm interested in (the story of how my husband and I finally crossed the friendship line is a doosey) but Charlotte was a tad on the pathetic side. She reminded me more of a fourteen year old in the maturity department.

That said, though, I did find her to be a likeable character and an ideal role model for the younger generation- wow, don't I sound old. Charlotte's a seemingly intelligent young lady with strong family values. She's caring, selfless, and determined to help those in need around her. Even as she begins to suspect there's a ghoul roaming the cemetery. But not everything is as it seems- not even the caskets. 3.5 out of 5 stars.
